Obviously overall very pleased with the result.
Thought we would have a more gloss finish.
John agreed to came back on an agreed evening to see how it had dried re gloss finish.
Disappointed that he did not show up as agreed.
We believe the floor needs another final coat of sealer/gloss to look its best.
After payment of $1485.00 we trust that this can be completed to our satisfaction.

I recognise up front that the job was not easy. The slate tiles are uneven and the grout discoloured. However, I would have expected better advice upfront - John didn't seem to know what would be the best solution. Yes, he stripped and sealed the tiles, but $2300 for just 1 day of work by two people seems extremely excessive. However, the grout is left in a worse condition that it started, John tried a few things including experimenting with a bit of grout paint. He says he will come back sometime in the future and fix it 'for free', but I've lost all confidence, and will prefer to pay and expert grout painter to come in and fix the grout. I paid for the job, but feel ripped off.

nice person John, he was working all night for you at Monash- so missed the allotted time to start our job. I had to call to chase him up. Quality seems to be ok - do we get a guarantee? Customer service do not reply to e-mails! We are waiting for him to confirm a time to complete the job.

The quality of the job was terrible. Paint marks were left on the side walls. I was overcharged. The technician told me he would come back to repair and would arrange for a refund for the overcharged amount. After 2.5 months I am still waiting for the repair work to occur even though I have left multiple messages. What a terrible experience all round.

At first I was happy with the work, but as the sealer dried and I was able to walk on the tiles, I kept seeing more and more issues with the details of the finish.
Moreover, the skirtings and walls were a mess from the stripping process. Your quotes say the skirtings will be masked. They were not masked by John. There was some masking there, but that was the painter and was only the top edge of the skirting, not the area (front face) that would have been affected by the strip.
I have spent hours washing all the newly painted walls and skirtings for the splatter from the strip.
The primary issues are that there are edges of rooms, and small depressions on tiles and grout that are not sealed. I can see the bare tile/grout.
I believe the lack of taping is due to "I'll keep the applicator away from the skirting", but that means there is a gap around every room where it is not sealed.
There are also some tiles with 'something on them' that did not come off with the stripping brush. However now that the sealer is applied these have lifted and so once removed, there are small patches of tile that are not sealed.
I have photos to share if you like.

The cost was double what I was quoted over the phone and I don't understand the basis of how I was charged.
Disappointing results for cleanliness of kitchen tiles. Happy with result on the vinyl - just twice what I expected.
Have not received a tax invoice for the work and I am a business - I need this.
